At Starting Point, we are dedicated to fostering the growth and well-being of young children and their families by collaborating with the Early Childhood Education (ECE) community. Our goal is to identify, develop, and implement prevention services that create positive outcomes for children, families, and providers.
What We Offer
We Serve These Counties: Services available in Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, and Ashtabula counties.
Accessible and Coordinated Services: We work to improve access to and coordination of services for young children and their families.
Kindergarten Transition Support:
- We develop quality assurance systems to ensure children with special needs transition successfully to kindergarten.
- Assistance is available to help parents navigate the kindergarten enrollment process for children with special needs.
Professional Development:
- Training and resources for ECE staff, families, and community members to strengthen knowledge and skills.
Preschool Expulsion Prevention:
- We provide guidance and resources to prevent preschool expulsions.
- Support is available to help parents obtain an Individualized Education Program (IEP) for their child.
