Special Needs Child Care Programs: Child-Specific Technical Assistance
At Starting Point, our Special Needs Child Care Programs are designed to support early childhood educators, parents, and guardians in addressing the unique needs of children with medical, developmental, or social-emotional challenges. Our goal is to equip educators and families with the tools they need to stabilize and maintain children in their early care and education settings, ensuring school success and promoting staff retention.
How We Support You:
- Child-Specific Technical Assistance: Tailored guidance for providers and parents/guardians to support children with special needs.
- Enhanced Referrals: Helping families find the right childcare placement to meet their child’s unique requirements.
- Equipment Fund: Providing adaptive equipment and materials to support effective care for children with specific needs.
- Training Opportunities: Offering specialized training for providers, parents/guardians, and the community to foster understanding and inclusivity.
