By submitting your job position to Starting Point's Job Board, you agree to the following:

1. Eligibility for Posting: All positions must be related to early childhood education or other educational fields.

2. Job Posting Content: Providers must submit a complete job description that includes:

• Job Title
• Provider Name
• Number of Positions Open
• Location
• Detailed Job Description (including responsibilities, qualifications, and any specific skills needed)
• Required Qualifications (e.g. experience, degree, certifications)
• Compensation and Benefits (if available)
• Application Deadline
• How to Apply (with clear instructions and relevant contact information)

Posts with incomplete information may not be approved.

3. Review Process: All job postings will be reviewed by the Career Development Coordinator to ensure compliance with the posting guidelines before they are made publicly available. Providers will be notified if any changes are required to their posting.

4. Approval or Denial of Postings: Starting Point reserves the right to approve or deny any job posting based on the information provided. If the details are unclear, incomplete, or do not meet the necessary criteria, we may request additional information or choose not to approve the post. The goal is to ensure that all postings align with our standards, and any decision made will be based on this principle.

5. Duration of Posting: Job postings will remain active for up to 60 days from the date of posting. After 60 days, providers must either update the posting or request an extension if the position is still available during a meeting with the Career Development Coordinator.

6. Follow-up with Career Development Coordinator: Mandatory Meeting. After 60 days of posting a job, employers must schedule a follow-up meeting with the Career Development Coordinator. This meeting will serve to:

• • Review the effectiveness of the job posting.
  • Discuss any challenges or feedback from both employers and candidates.
  • Assess whether the position has been filled or if further adjustments to the posting are necessary.

Failure to schedule the meeting after 60 days may result in the job posting being removed from the board.

7. Updates and Revisions: Providers are encouraged to update job postings as needed to reflect changes in job responsibilities, qualifications, or compensation. If a position has been filled before the 60-day mark, please notify us so the posting can be removed.

8. Non-Endorsement: Starting Point does not screen, rate, or endorse candidates or employers, nor do we verify the information provided by either party. It is the responsibility of the provider to determine if candidates meet the necessary qualifications.

9. Non-Discrimination: All job postings must comply with applicable local, state, and federal non-discrimination laws and guidelines. Providers must ensure their job descriptions are inclusive and non-discriminatory in nature.
