Dawn K. Martini

Throughout her career, she has worked as a lead teacher in infant and preschool programs where her theoretical knowledge of child development was complimented by practical, hands-on experience. As a therapeutic support person (behavior therapist), Mrs. Martini gained valuable experience with disabled children and played key roles in their integration into the classroom environment. Mrs. Martini has co-authored the “Model Parent Handbook for Child Care Agencies,” and “Model Personnel Policy Manual for Child Care Agencies,3rd and 5th Editions,” and is the author of “Model Forms for Child Care Agencies 1stand 2nd Editions.” Mrs. Martini is Editor and Chief of “The Child Care Professional Experience” a free online journal for child care professionals. Mrs. Martini travels nationally to speak with child care professionals. Her lecture portfolio includes over forty topics related to legal, human resources, interpersonal and child based issues affecting the child care industry. In September 2003, Mrs. Martini received recognition from Pennsylvania Pathways and was awarded the status of “Certified Trainer” (CT-0224000), and was re-certified in 2009.
