In this interactive training, participants will explore the Family Child Care Environment Rating Scale, Third Edition (FCCERS-3), a tool designed to look at the quality of family child care environments serving children from infancy through school age.

Through discussion, activities, and practical examples, participants will become familiar with the different areas of the FCCERS-3 and learn how to use the tool to take a closer look at their own program.

Participants will also practice using FCCERS-3 as a self-assessment tool to identify strengths, reflect on current practices, and consider meaningful ways to enhance the environment and experiences they provide for children.
