Starting Point Series: Engaging Young Children in Developmentally Appropriate Play

If you’re seeking guidance on how to effectively plan for the children in your care, especially regarding the curriculum and assessment that aligns with their developmental stages, then these training sessions are designed specifically for you. Whether you are working with infants, toddlers, or preschoolers, you will gain valuable insights into what constitutes developmentally appropriate practices.  This series is comprised of 3 individual sessions.  Attendance is verified based on the sessions attended.

  • Session 1:  Selecting Curriculum and Assessment (face to face at Starting Point Headquarters)- January 15th from 6:00pm-9:00pm
  • Session 2:  Standards in the Context of Developmentally Appropriate Practice: Infant and Toddler (virtual)-January 22nd from 6:00pm-9:00pm
  • Session 3:  Standards in the Context of Developmentally Appropriate Practice: Preschool (virtual)-January 29th from 6:00pm-9:00p
