Is staff turnover interfering with your program’s financial health?  Does instability create obstacles for improvement planning and quality initiatives?  If so, the Seeking Stability in the ECE and Afterschool Workforce series is for you! For over 20 years, Marcy Whitebook and the Center for the Study of Child Care Employment have researched the impact of staff turnover in child care settings and advocated for reform in teacher preparation and support to stabilize the workforce.  In this first module, Revisting Retention, participants will explore Marcy Whitebook’s seminal guide Taking on Turnover as they reflect on their program’s capacity to increase retention.
