Building Strong Foundations: Nurturing and Responsive Relationships – 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

PD Topic: Classroom Management

Relationships are at the heart of everything we do in early childhood—and this interactive training brings that truth to life. Participants will explore how nurturing, responsive relationships serve as the foundation of the Pyramid Model and play a powerful role in supporting children’s social‑emotional growth.

Exploring and Enhancing Preschool Math (Part 1 of 2) – 10:00 am to 11:30 am 

Did you know that strong early math skills predict not only future math success—but reading success, too? Northwestern University researcher Greg Duncan highlights the powerful connection between early learning experiences and long-term achievement. Through interactive discussions, engaging videos, and hands-on group activities, participants will discover how meaningful science experiences in early childhood spark curiosity and strengthen all five essential domains of school readiness. Must attend the second part of the training in the afternoon to receive OA. No partial credit will be issued.

This interactive training explores six key principles and provides practical, Pyramid Model–aligned strategies educators can use immediately to foster emotional security, social skills, and cognitive growth.
