Phonological and Phonemic Awareness Training

This training focuses on phonological and phonemic awareness—the ability to hear and manipulate sounds in spoken language—an essential predictor of reading success. Participants will explore the sequential levels of phonological and phonemic awareness and engage in demonstrated activities for each level.

The training consists of two sessions on April 8, 2025, and April 15, 2025. Attendance at both sessions is required to receive Ohio-approved credit.

To register for this training:

1. Copy the ST #located below.
2. Click the register button which will take you to OCCRRA’s website.
3. Log into Ohio’s Professional Registry using your OPIN number and password.
4. Click the “Training Search” located at the bottom left side of the page in the dark blue menu area.
5. Paste the ST# at the top of the page in search bar.
6. Click “Add to Cart”
7. Click “view cart”
