This training will be conducted live using the Zoom conferencing platform. Several days before the event, OPR registrants will receive an email with a link to register on Starting Point’s Zoom portal. Registrants should be advised to check all folders, including spam and junk, of their email linked to the OPR. Once the Zoom registration process is complete, registrants will receive another email with the link to join the session. Participants must be logged on to their own device and actively engaged throughout the entire session to receive credit. Credit will not be given to participants who log on 15 minutes after the session begins. Participants who fail to respond to prompts and questions are assumed inactive and may be omitted from attendance records. Starting Point strongly discourages participants from engaging in activities such as driving or caring for others during synchronous events. Per JFS licensing rule 2-12-18, childcare staff members shall not be counted in the staff-child ratio when engaged in duties or activities that interfere with supervision of children.
