Loose parts is a coined term by architect Simon Nicholson who believed that we are all creative and that with “loose parts” in our environment it empowers our creativity. This training will define loose parts in the early childhood classroom and explain the value of using them along with how they tie into the learning domains and support the curriculum. We will also discuss what an ”Invitation to Play’ is. You will have the opportunity to put together an “Invitation to Play’ with loose parts during this presentation.
