Lesson Planning the DAP Way

Two-Part Training

Part 1: November 5, 2026 | 6:00–8:30 PM
Part 2: November 12, 2026 | 6:00–8:30 PM

Participants must attend both sessions in full to receive Ohio Approved training credit.

Great lesson plans are more than a list of activities—they are a roadmap for meaningful learning.

In this interactive two-part webinar, participants will explore how Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP) can guide the planning process and help educators create experiences that truly reflect how young children learn and grow.

Through discussion, reflection, and hands-on activities, participants will examine how learning objectives, teaching strategies, child development, family engagement, and quality indicators all work together to create intentional and effective lesson plans.

Participants will leave with practical ideas for moving beyond “What activity should I do?” and instead asking, “What do I want children to learn, and how can I help them get there?”

Come ready to make lesson planning more purposeful, meaningful, and developmentally appropriate.
