This engaging 3-part, IN-Person series will guide you through understanding, implementing, and mastering your curriculum with fidelity. Through collaborative learning, meaningful reflection, practical strategies, and out-of-class assignments, you’ll gain the tools and confidence to create developmentally appropriate, high-quality learning experiences for young children.

Bonus! After completing the series, you’ll receive a personalized coaching session to help solidify your learning and support successful implementation in your program!

Part 1: Understanding Your Curriculum

Dive into the foundation of your curriculum! Explore its key components, understand how activities align with both curriculum objectives and Ohio’s Early Learning and Development Standards (ELDS), and engage in rich discussions and hands-on activities.

Learn how to implement your curriculum with fidelity and make the most of both formal and informal assessments to guide instruction. This session combines mini-lectures, interactive activities, and engaging games that promote meaningful, hands-on learning.

Part 3: Putting Your Curriculum into Practice

Date: Wednesday, May 21, 2025
Bring everything together! You’ll apply the Ohio Planning Cycle and use your assessment data to plan engaging, developmentally appropriate activities. Reflect on your practices and receive peer feedback to strengthen your curriculum implementation.
Out-of-class assignment: To be used during your coaching visit following Part 3.
