In this dynamic, interactive workshop, participants will explore the four goals of children’s misbehavior, with a deep dive into one of the most challenging: power. Instead of getting stuck in frustrating standoffs, you’ll learn how to recognize power-driven behavior and respond with confidence and clarity.

Through a blend of engaging lecture, video examples, hands-on activities, and real-life role plays, you’ll gain practical tools to:

• Prevent power struggles before they begin
• Respond effectively in the moment
• Transform conflict into meaningful learning opportunities

Participants will also be introduced to a simple, effective script designed to help you disengage from power struggles—while guiding students toward developing essential conflict management skills.
