Our Partners

Starting Point prepares children for success in education and beyond in Cuyahoga, Ashtabula, Lake, and Geauga Counties.

But we don’t do this work alone–we have great partners to help us lead the charge. Read below to learn more about our collaborations that are helping tens of thousands of families thrive through high-quality early childhood education and out-of-school time programs!

Families and Children First Council

Cuyahoga County’s Family & Children First Council collaborates with families and the community to join specialists from all youth-serving agencies in discussions, resource sharing, and brainstorming to connect people and resources. Council members engage families to learn what works for them and plans with them to achieve goals for child and family stability and well-being.

Starting Point is proud to partner with Family & Children First Council on our Out-of-School Time Programs and Services.

Invest in Children

Invest in Children is a community wide public/private partnership administered by the Cuyahoga County Office of Early Childhood.

Starting Point and Invest in Children bring three unique programs to Cuyahoga County Families and Providers: Prevention and Inclusion Programs (PIPs), Universal Pre-Kindergarten for Families, and Universal Pre-Kindergarten for Providers

PRE4CLE

PRE4CLE is a collective impact initiative working to expand and sustain access to high-quality preschool for all 3- and 4-year-olds in the City of Cleveland so that every child enters kindergarten ready to succeed. PRE4CLE is guided by the PRE4CLE Plan, a set of community-level goals and strategies that drive high-quality preschool expansion and enrollment throughout the City of Cleveland.

Starting Point works with PRE4CLE to support families with preschool age children in the city of Cleveland with our Child Care Referral Service, and preschool providers with our Business & Operational Supports and Professional Development Services. We also collaborate on Outreach and Education and Advocacy initiatives.
