COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS

INVEST IN CHILDREN

Invest in Children brings together the resources of Cuyahoga County public and private funders to ensure healthy children ages 1-5, effective parents and quality child care for the County's youngest residents. Starting Point plays an important role in this County-wide program—enhancing early childhood quality, expanding family childcare homes, assisting children with special needs and providing support for Universal Pre-Kindergarten. A Cuyahoga County program.

MyCom YOUTH DEVELOPMENT

MyCom helps Cuyahoga County’s young people--kindergarten through graduation-- reach their full potential with employment opportunities, out-of-school-time activities, school transition assistance, resources and opportunities in their neighborhoods. Starting Point's role is to offer, enhance and support positive, fun activities when school is out and aid children and their families in making successful transitions to kindergarten, high school and college.. A project of the Cuyahoga County Family and Children First Council and the Cleveland Foundation.

FAMILY AND CHILDREN FIRST COUNCIL

The Cuyahoga County Family & Children First Council convenes partners to prepare children and youth for healthy, stable adulthood, by supporting programming and planning that increases family self-sufficiency and decision-making ability, prevents children from becoming deeply involved in public systems, and connects children to needed services.
